Jawai Bandh is an area set on a Dam in Rajasthan that is home to migratory birds such as Flamingos in winter. The area around is renowned for Leopard Sightings.

Jawai Leopard Camp, in the heart of Rajasthan’s untrammeled wilderness is located between the former kingdoms of Jodhpur and Udaipur approximately 130km from both, and enclosed by the ancient Aravalli hill range.

Jawai Leopard Camp is an experiential jungle lodge set on the edge of the Jawai dam area in Jawai Bandh comprising eight luxuries tented suites. The area is renowned for its Exceptional Leopard sightings, bird watching and an exclusive wildlife and bird watching experience. The Camp is situated in the heart of the wilderness at the bottom of the Aravali Mountains and is home to a thriving population of Leopards. With its specialized camp guides and excellent location, Jawai is probably the best place to see a Leopard in the whole of India! The camp also lies minutes upstream of the Jawai Bandh, one of Rajasthan’s largest water reservoirs, which attracts an abundance of birds and other wildlife.

All of the 10 tents at Jawai Leopard Camp are decorated in such a way that combines abundant adventure with luxury and comfort. Luxury Tents:- There are eight spacious luxury tents. Each double tent has its own private sit out and en suite bathrooms with powerful hot showers. The spacious, creamy-white tents are hand stitched, dotted with red throws and pillows, a nod to the signature turban of the local Rabari, nomadic herders. Children are welcome at Sujan Jawai Leopard Camp. The Junior Ranger programme is great for younger guests to develop an interest in wildlife. Complete with a junior ranger’s uniform, a bird book and list, a mammal book and an observation list, kids will set out on an educational adventure with the ranger.

The food at Jawai leopard camp is delicious, where meals made from organic home grown produce can be enjoyed at a vast choice of private dining setting. On your return, head to the spa to relax and unwind with a diverse choice of treatments. In the evening a sunset vintage jeep ride is a perfect way to end the day.
